I've almost finished the MA in Creative and Media Enterprises at Warwick University http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/theatre_s/cp/study/creative/ which may be of interest in this context. It's an excellent course covering the creative industries and creative entrepreneurship and obviously well-positioned for people in the West Midlands. I'm doing it part-time over 2 years but most students do it 1 year full-time, so it would be a good option for someone finishing a first degree and looking to add entrepreneurship and industry knowledge to their other skills. I have come across many creative businesses who really struggle when they need to employ people and grow. I also think that the quality of support within HE is really important - we dont want to turn people off or give them unrealistic and / or inappropriate info.
