These are my links for December 2nd through December 4th:
- For the first time, jeans to be made in North Korea | Springwise: your daily fix of new business ideas – Wow – the first clothing factory opens up in NK – wonder what the labour standards issues would be in a place like that?
- Gisby: SEO is the new scheduling – I like this metaphor. I would also add that community management / development will also be a big part in replacing scheduling.
- Something for the weekend: ifeellondon.com – "Emotional" navigation is a real thing-of-the-moment for me and this is a good example. May try it out this weekend.
- Recyclable homes made from loofah and corn husks – Social activist Elsa Zaldívar has found a way to use locally available food and bathing (!) products to make houses. I think this might somehow be harder to do in the UK.
- Blingee – "Add Glitter, Graphics, and Comments to
personalize your images, then share with your friends!" Not my sort of
thing, but I reckon this will be massive with young people. It's just
like Print Club in Japan. - Lonely Planet Labs – Looks like the Lonely Planet guys are opening up their data – interesting..
