Misfits (Six to Start / E4)

In late 2009, Six to Start brought me in as producer to deliver six weeks’ worth of sponsored content for Nokia around E4’s new drama Misfits.  This was part of an innovative cross-platform project which saw a seamless integration of brand-commissioned content.

I was responsible for five in-character social media streams (text and imagery) across Facebook, Twitter and Flickr. Characters updated their profiles regularly between episodes, and were responding regularly to users – all in character. Every part of this content needed to be carefully scripted by experienced drama writers, and approved both by Channel 4 and Clerkenwell Films before being posted.

However, the effort was worth it and across the campaign, there was fantastic engagement with the characters.
